St. Martin

St. Martin is identified by the goose, which is one of his attributes. His role as Bishop of Tours is signified by the cope, mitre, and crozier. The cope and mitre are anachronisms, having come into liturgical use long after St. Martin's life in the 5th century. The crozier, however, did come into use at that time.
Every bishop is of course a priest and will celebrate the Mass regularly. This role is referenced by the
ciborium
a vessel used for storing and distributing hosts consecrated during the Mass
atop the book in the saint's left hand.
